Urban Traffic Info is a social media linkage testing project. SDNK Research Group found that issues with urban traffic in Greater Vancouver area is getting bigger. So with this project, SDNK wants to share ideas through social media and link them all together with the hub site.
My roles in this project was a project manager, video editor, and social media analysis. As a project manager, I led the team with right timeline and encourage team members to accomplish their tasks.
So I provided wireframes to provide a guideline to team members.
While web designers and coders were building the hub site, I made a promotional video for this project with Akshay Chauhan.
Then I set up the social media plan using selected social media with the team.
- Facebook (content + image | 1 post/day)
- google+ (SEO | duplicate from Facebook)
- Twitter (content + retweet | 3-5 tweet/day)
- YouTube (SEO + video | 1 post / project)
- Medium (traffic generator | 1 post / week)
- Hootsuite (managing tool)
At the end of this project, full version of analysis was presented by the team.
SDNK Research Group is founded by BCIT New Media Design and Web Development students, Sean Jeon, Nan Zheng, Kei Yamagishi, and Dago Agazino. They believe all new media design and web development has three parts: research, design, and development. SDNK Research Group finds the answers of why we are researching, what we are designing, and how we are developing for clients.
